All matters listed under Item 4, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will not be separate discussion of these items.  Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the Mayor/City Manager to execute all matters necessary to implement each item.  Any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate discussion and consideration by any member of the City Council.

g.         Set Public Hearings date of August 20, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. for first Public Hearing and 7:30 p.m. for second Public Hearing for a request by James Moon, General Partner of Easthaven Realty Partners, L.P. for  annexation of the following:

·    An approximate 16-acre tract located at the northwest corner of the proposed Easthaven         Development south of Easthaven Road

·    An approximate 24-acre tract located at the southern portion of the proposed Easthaven Development northeast of Harrington Road

·    A 10' wide annexation parcel within the boundary of the east, west and south property lines of the proposed Easthaven Development 

 

5.         Request to appear by Sam Meade, President of Waxahachie Arts Council, to present annual financial report for the Waxahachie Arts Council and consider request to extend current contract between the Waxahachie Arts Council and the City of Waxahachie

 

6.         Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-24:  Request by Debbie Aday of First Christian Church to extend an existing Specific Use Permit (SUP) within Single Family-2 (SF-2) Zoning District for a two (2) year period for a temporary portable building to be used for classrooms at 1109 Brown Street, being Lot 1, Littleton Estates. (ZA2007-24)

 

7.         Consider Ordinance approving Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-24

 

8.         Provide report and consider request by Anita Kornegay, Downtown Director, for the closing of certain streets in downtown for Movies/Farmer’s Market on July 27, 2007.

 

9.         Consider request by Marc Dehaan, Clockmasters, for one (1) customer parking space at 104 S. Rogers

 

10.       Consider Resolution approving the suspension of the Atmos Energy Interim GRIP Rate Adjustments for gas utility investment in 2006

 

11.       Citizens’ Petitions and Requests
