5.         First Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. and second Public Hearing at 8:00 p.m. to consider requested annexation by Rick Jellies, Texas 275 LLC, Owner, for approximately 199.1 acres out of the J.B. and Ann Adams Survey on Wilson Road near intersection of F.M. 879

 

6.         Consider request by Wess Winn, Waxahachie Police Department, for street closures, activities for National Night Out and proclamation proclaiming August 7, 2007 as “National Night Out”

 

7.         Request to appear by Kevin Chester, Linbarger, Goggan, Blair & Simpson, LLP to present a collection report on taxes and fees/fines.

 

8.         Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-24:  Request by Debbie Aday of First Christian Church to extend an existing Specific Use Permit (SUP) within Single Family-2 (SF-2) Zoning District for a two (2) year period for a temporary portable building to be used for classrooms at 1109 Brown Street, being Lot 1, Littleton Estates. (ZA2007-24)

 

9.         Consider proposed Ordinance approving Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-24

 

10.       Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-26:  Request by Sunset Ennis, Inc., DBA Sunset Waxahachie, for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) within a Commercial (C) Zoning District to allow for truck repair and maintenance on company-owned equipment, located at 7200 I 35E, being five (5) acres in the Wm. B. Haynes Survey. (ZA2007-26)

 

11.       Consider proposed Ordinance approving Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-26.

 

12.       Consider Final Plat of Country Lane Addition, being 46.329 acres in the John Harris Survey, located on U.S. Highway 77 South across from Dunaway Elementary School – Owner:  Kenneth H. Mitchell (FP2007-25)

 

13.       Consider amending Personnel Policies for the City of Waxahachie to include a section entitled “Employee Responsibilities” in reporting violations of law, etc.

           

14.       Consider agreement with Terry Morgan for Legal Services for the Impact Fee Update

 

15.       Consider contract with Dan Sefko for land use assumptions for Impact Fee Update

 

16.       Consider contract for Engineering Services for Water and Wastewater Master Plan and Impact Fee Update

 

17.       Consider Award of Bid for Stainless Sludge Trailer for Wastewater Treatment Plant 

 

18.       Update from Carl Wessels on the Box Hanger Project
