6.         Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2007-29:  Request by Ken Mitchell, Two Country Lane – Waxahachie, Ltd., for a Site Plan approval within Planned Development-Office (PD-O) Zoning District for Senior Citizens Independent living apartments for the project Country Lane Seniors on the East side of Highway 77 South to be located on proposed Park Hills Drive across from Dunaway Elementary School, being 7.1476 acres in the John Harris Survey – Owner:  Ken Mitchell, Two Country Lane – Waxahachie, Ltd. (ZA2007-29)

8.         Consider proposed Ordinance annexing parcel of land owned by Rick Jellies, Texas 275 LLC, Owner, for approximately 199.1 acres out of the J.B. and Ann Adams Survey on Wilson Road near intersection of F.M. 879

 

9.         Request to appear by David Setzer to make a presentation about CASA of Ellis County and request funding in next year’s budget

 

10.       Consider authorizing the purchase of police and fire equipment from the Fiscal Year 2006-2007 budget.

 

11.       Consider amending the Waxahachie Code of Ordinances Sections 15-1 through 15-76 in reference to Health and Sanitation

 

12.       Consider amending the Waxahachie Code of Ordinances in reference to regulations on Food and Food Handlers

 

13.       Consider amending the Waxahachie Code of Ordinances Section 17-47 through 17-52 in reference to Junked Vehicles

 

14.       Consider budget amendment for the lease-purchase of the new City-Wide radio equipment.

 

15.       Consider Memorandum of Intent and Understanding with Ellis County to construct a parking structure as a part of the larger Ellis County Court and Detention Center Facilities Project

 

16.       Consider approving Architectural and Engineering Firm for engineering and design services for County Facilities/City Parking Garage Projects

 

17.       Citizens’ Petitions and Requests

 

18.       Comments by Mayor, City Council, City Attorney and City Manager

 

19.       Adjourn into Executive Session to discuss pending or contemplated litigation/consultation with Attorney in regard to the airport as permitted by the Texas Government code, section 551.071
