5.         Consider Preliminary Plat of The Oaks at Cedar Glenn, located at 450 N. Oak Branch at South East corner of Oak Branch and Oak Vista, being approximately 10.526 acres in the Samuel B. Orton Survey Abstract No. 813 –        Applicant: Timothy Lyons (PLM 2007-60)

 

6.         Public Hearing to amend the Zoning Ordinance in reference to Sections 18 and 19, relating to multi-family regulations; providing criteria for application and procedures for approval; establishing criteria for and procedures for exceptions to these requirements and providing an effective date

 

7.         Public Hearing to amend the Zoning Ordinance in reference to Section 36, relating to landscape requirements; providing criteria for applications and procedures for approval; establishing criteria for and procedures for exceptions to these requirements and providing an effective date

 

8.         Consider proposed Ordinance amending Sections 18, 19, and 36 of the City Zoning Ordinance

 

9.         Consider approval of bids received for sale of properties located at 500 Perry being Lot 19,  Highland Park Addition, Ellis County, Texas and 1205 E. Main Street, being Lot 1, Block 17 of the Harriet I. Nowlin Subdivision, Ellis County, Texas

 

10.       Consider approval of a list of pre-qualifying Engineering firms

 

11.       Consider request to enter into a ground lease for construction of four hangers at Midway Airport

 

12.       Consideration of movie permit for “The Beacon”

 

13.       Consider Ordinance providing for election to be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 to elect three (3) City Council members

 

14.       Consider Resolution approving Joint Election Agreement with Waxahachie Independent School District

 

15.       Reminder of City Council Winter Retreat to be held on Wednesday, February 20th at the Waxahachie Civic Center

 

16.       Convene into Executive Session permitted by the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071, consultation with attorney regarding contemplated or pending litigation on Billboard advertising and receive legal opinion related to architectural services contract for the downtown parking garage
