All matters listed under Item 4, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will not be separate discussion of these items.  Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the Mayor/City Manager to execute all matters necessary to implement each item.  Any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate discussion and consideration by any member of the City Council.

7.         Presentation from HDR and Staubach Group on the following projects: Parking Garage,   Justice and Administration Building, and Jail Expansion 

 

8.         Continue Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2008-15:  Request by Will Allen, for a Specific Use Permit within a Commercial (C) Zoning District for an Outdoor         Storage (32 containers) between October and January of each year to be located at 1200        N. Hwy. 77. – Owner: Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust (ZA2008-15)

 

9.         Consider proposed ordinance approving Zoning Amendment Request No. ZA 2008-15

 

10.       Continue Public Hearing on Zoning Amendment Request No. 2008-16:  Request by Will Allen, for a Specific Use Permit within a Commercial (C) Zoning District for a outdoor seasonal sales area (40,000 square feet) to be located at 1200 N. Hwy. 77. – Owner: Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust (ZA2008-16)

 

11.       Consider proposed ordinance approving Zoning Amendment Request No. ZA 2008-16

 

12.       Consider Final Plat of Buffalo Creek Phase One, located at Northeast side of Dean Box Drive, being Lot 1, Block A, 1.993 acres in the R. Russell Survey, Abstract 911 – Owner: Lyons American Securities, Inc. (FP 2008-09)

 

13.       Consider proposed Ordinance for Contractor Registration

 

14.       Award bid for Broadhead Road Paving and Drainage Improvements

 

15.         Discuss Tyler Refrigeration Property and take necessary action

18.       Convene into Executive Session to discuss pending or contemplated litigation/consultation with Attorney in regard to IESI Waste Disposal as permitted by the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071; discuss pending or contemplated litigation/consultation with Attorney in regard to History Maker Homes as permitted by the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071; and discuss pending or contemplated litigation/consultation with Attorney in regard to condemnation concerning property located on or near Parks School House Road and in regard to condemnation concerning property locate on or near FM 877 as permitted by the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072
