2019 Asphalt Street Rehabilitation

The Asphalt Street Rehabilitation Program is an annual program that reviews the condition of our asphalt streets and determines the need for repair and replacement. The Director of public works conducts a pavement condition assessment according to the following criteria:

  • Visual inspection of damage and condition
  • Test drive the damage and condition
  • Checks for traffic flow and speed limit
  • Size of street
  • Citizens requests
  • Director presents assessments to City Manager

  • Project Timeline and Map - The asphalt rehabilitation program is broken done into 5 phases.
    • Phase 1 – scarification
    • Phase 2 – reshape
    • Phase 3 - compact
    • Phase 4 - overlay
