TRAFFIC CLOSED ON HWY 77 DUE TO POWER POLE DAMAGED

This morning (February 3) an 18-wheeler clipped the power pole at the corner of Elm Street (Hwy 77) and Madison Street. This portion of Elm is closed and traffic is being diverted through downtown or Main Street. Crews are working to get the pole replaced, which should take several hours. We will update when we have more information.
