City Of Waxahachie Conducting a Survey to Gauge Interest in a Business Incubator
The City of Waxahachie Economic Development Department has formed a working group with the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce and the Navarro Small Business Development Center to explore the feasibility of establishing a business incubator in the city. The purpose of an incubator is to help entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground by providing support in overcoming the many challenges that new businesses face such as lack of affordable rental space, and the high cost or unavailability of advisory/facilitation services.

The City Economic Development Department will survey entrepreneurs and small business owners to evaluate the degree of interest in our community.
"We need to know if their is a significant number of people who are interested in the incubator,” said Warren Ketteman, Senior Director of Economic Development.

Ketteman added, “If you own a small business or if you are thinking about owning a small business, please take that survey for us”.

If a small business or entrepreneur would like to take part in the survey they can access it at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QKWM6RL. The link to the survey can also be found at www.crossroadsoftx.com.

The survey will close Aug. 3, 2020.
