The City of Waxahachie, Texas, Utilities Department will be increasing associated water fees (Meter Set Fee, Bull Head Meter fee, Road-Cut Fees, etc.) in early October 2021. Proposed increases are still being calculated, but a final proposal will be presented at the October 4, 2021 City Council Meeting. Proposed increases are due to a rise in the cost of doing business and other related items (Winter Storm Uri, COVID-19, Supply-Chain Challenges, Increased Operational Costs in the Private Sector, etc.) It is anticipated that any increases will go into effect on October 11, 2021.
