ATMOS Energy has identified a gas leak near the Waxahachie Creek Hike and Bike Trail south of the Rogers Street pedestrian bridge near Cantrell Street. Repairs are schedule to begin Tuesday, August 30, and this section of the trail will remain closed during that time. Repairs are expected to last at least a day, and could take longer. The trail will remain open from Getzendaner Park to the Rogers Street pedestrian bridge, and from Lions Park to Rogers Street.
