HOLIDAY GREASE ROUNDUP

HOLIDAY GREASE ROUNDUP

It may seem harmless to pour and scrape your fats, oils, and grease (FOG) down the kitchen drain, but it causes real trouble for your pipes, the City’s sewer – and yourself!

With the holidays approaching, we are having a “Cease the Grease” Roundup where our residents may recycle their cooking oil for free!

Cooking oil may be dropped at the Citizens Convenience Station November 14 through January 9 (Monday through Saturday 8am to 4pm, and the facility will be closed November 24-26 for Thanksgiving).

Residents must bring ID and proof of residency (water bill). This collection is for cooking oils only - motor oil and other fluids will not be accepted. Thank you for helping keep our sewer lines running efficiently!
