Waxahachie, Texas will soon welcome a new company to its growing commercial development footprint. Fanatics, a global digital sports platform, will open and operate a new 600,000 square foot e-commerce and wholesale fulfillment facility in Waxahachie.
 
4.5.2022. Dallas, California Firms buy 575 acres in Waxahachie for a massive Industrial Project.
Wynne/Jackson said that it has formed a joint venture with San Francisco-based ProspectHill Group to acquire 575 acres for the industrial development, called South Grove. The project can handle multiple buildings of more than 1 million square feet. Infrastructure work is expected to begin in April or early May.

Clear Sky Rehab Rendering crop 4.5.2022   ClearSky Health Holds Groundbreaking in Waxahachie, Texas for New Medical Rehabilitation Hospital
ClearSky Health broke ground today for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Waxahachie, a new 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that will be located near U.S. Highway 287 Bypass and Brown Street in Waxahachie, Texas.
ClearSky Waxahachie will provide specialized rehabilitation services to about 650 patients annually who are living with disabling injuries,  illnesses or other medically-complex conditions.
 

 
7.3.2021   Navarro College Closer to Offering Bachelor in Nursing

District President Dr. Kevin Fegan and Board Chairman Phil Judson honored Texas legislators Rep. Cody Harris, Rep. Jake Ellzey and State Sen. Brian Birdwell for their work on House Bill 885 which allowed the college to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to its students. Gov. Greg Abbott signed the bill in June, and it took effect immediately. The first classes are expected to begin the fall semester of 2023, with the first graduates occurring in August of 2024.

7.21.2020    Waxahachie Global High School Earns "Best High Schools" Distinction
U.S. News recently ranked Global High School #473 within Texas and #138 in the Dallas Metro Area high schools. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college.
The U.S. News first ranked Waxahachie Global High with the “Best High Schools” distinction in 2014 and has since bestowed this honor seven times.
