MLK JR. DAY HOURS:
The Citizens Convenience Station will be closed Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of the MLK Jr. holiday. The facility will reopen on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 and resume normal operating hours (Monday through Saturday, 8am to 4pm, located at 499 Lions Park Road). Citizens using the facility must bring a driver’s license or another form of an identification and proof of residency (water bill, garbage bill or tax statement). The Citizens Convenience Station, located at 499 Lions Park Road near the Wastewater Treatment Plant, is a facility for Waxahachie citizens that live within the city limits to dispose of bulky items. These items may include household furniture, lawn and landscape garbage, and brush/tree limbs.

Open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Citizens using the facility must bring a Driver’s License or another form of an I.D. AND proof of residency (water bill, garbage bill or tax statement). For additional questions regarding the Convenience Station, please call 469-309-4270.

**Availability of space will be determined by the convenience station attendant. During times of limited space, access may be denied in order to provide available space to the city's residents.
