As a result of the heavy rains overnight, portions of Waxahachie Creek are flooded. Due to the high waters, please exercise caution in these areas including Getzendaner Park, and the Waxahachie Creek Hike and Bike Trail. The Little Creek Trail is fully open, and may be accessed at either Chapman Park or Brown-Singleton Park as an alternative until the creek recedes.
Additionally, the Citizens Convenience Station will be closed to the public today (Thursday, April 29). Thank you to our Citizens for their patience as our crews work on clean-up efforts. Updates will be posted as they are available.
